A Wise Word

I'm not sure where the advice is from. I think I first heard it in the sunscreen song. "Each day do one thing that scares you." Looking back over my weekend one that all though I felt sick and incredibly tired has felt like it was a rewarding one.
On Friday I meet new people something that scared me. Surprise surprise It wasn't half as scary as I thought it'd be! And now I have some new acquaintances.
On Saturday I went on a road trip with Rich, Linz, Rod, and Alice. (Youth Pastor, Youth leader, Pastor, and Youth group Kid/Pastors daughter). To Greymouth. Which was a bit scary especially with Richards Driving! I also messaged someone from Friday on facebook. Which was a very interesting experience, its interesting to see how many times you can re-write a 20 word message before you send it! Then I replied to a text I had no idea I would've got although it was nice and stayed up texting well into the night and until my birthday! Which was Sunday.
On Sunday It was my birthday, I played drums in church, not even my own church. Something that had been terrifying me all week! And you know what? It wasn't that bad. I think I might put myself back on the roster at my own church and start practising the drums again!
Now its Monday, I texted someone to ask them something when I half expected them to turn around and murder me, they didn't but It wasn't a massive request in the text so who knows! Maybe when they see me they will?
Tomorrow's Tuesday and I intend to continue this new trend! Hopefully it'll help to make each day an adventure! :P

It was an awsome concert. We got great seats to watch Hello Sailor then halfway through the Counting Crowes we had to move to our proper seats (My Dad read the tickets wrong) they 'new' seats were further back and on a worser angle to the stage but they were still great seats! :)

I really liked Hello Sailor, for those who dont know them they sing the Outrageous Fortune themesong. Their lead singer came out completely smashed though it was quite funny. I thought the Counting Crowes were average, i neither liked nor disliked them. Then the WHO! They were amazing! They had real spotlights old school each one with a man controlling it. (Not just one either they had 6 above the stage and 4 on a tower). They were awsome! They sung lots of there awsome songs like, Pinball Wizard, Generation, You better You Bet, Who are you, Can't Explain, Wont be Fooled again, Behind Blue Eyes, and See Me Feel Me. I was a bit sad that they didnt play Substitute, but im not overly annoyed cause it was such a good concert. Although they could upgrade there amps! Four Fender amps and One Vox would've been better!

Zak Starky was an awsome drummer! His Dad would be proud. (Possibly Jealous, that his son's a better musician (playing his instrument)than him?) He was very awsome! Hit those skins hard, i'd hate to be them!

Heaps of stoners at the show, one guy even offered my dad Marijuana! And this guy was HUGE! Marijuana must not only be a skinny person problem but a problem for buses as well!!! Every few minutes we'd get covered in another wave of the stuff it was revolting.

I got a wicked the Who Tshirt aswell its black with grey band members and lots of Union Jacks and The Who written every were in red and blue. Its sweet as! ;) Anyhow i should probly be asleep now seeing as its school tomorrow! Nuhnights! Hope you're all having sweet dreams as i type this! :)

I was thinking, if the awnsers not clear? Why? If its a maybe? Why not a yes? How can it be what you say it is when your actions contridict it? Why can someone be fine in your mind one minute, then after stewing over what they say and it all goes down the plug? Why do people do things? Say things? And then keep you at arms length, are they doing it for kicks? Do the understand the power they have?

Man if i wrote a book, i think High Fedality styles the way I'd go... Lots of thinking, saying stuff, but not. Good book btw. . . I think i might read it twice. . . I hope i never end up like Rob. . .

Im starting to think about things I say before I say them with everyone, this scares me. It means i get to consciously decide whether to lie or not. Like my Dad asked me today if i'd heard from the driving instructor, i knew I had. I decided to say no, because i didnt want to talk about it and cause dont really want to learn from the guy. . . Its scary, driving, and the instructors weird. . . I dont know, you know that vibe you get off some people and you just know its going to be awkward, and that theres no way you could be friends? And OMG the cars smells like old people. . . I had a shower last time just to get rid of the smell!!!

ARGH!!!

This weekend is going to suck! Driving lesson, Homework, Frisbee Golf (I know what the hell! and as far as i know only Jacobs going. . . im trying to contain all the excitement thats building up inside me. . . nope cant quite stand it. . .) Playing band in church which is just flipping stressful. . . and frustrating cause no one helps you set up the drumkit and its normally broken cause who ever put it away last time didnt do it properly! then iv got a free sunday afternoon. . . well maybe! Who knows? God knows!!!

Im so tired as well its 1/4 past 10 and my minds hit the fan, and i can barely sit up in my seat!

One more day of proper school for this year! then off on Holidays! during which im going to become an amazing drummer! :P

This picture is from Friday, Let me introduce the V-Dairy Challange. Nick and I dicided that we would take a piture of the dairy everytime new graffeti appeared on it. This is Day one of the Challange. Nick is in the picture to prove that it really is Graffeti Free. Every Sunday if theres new Graffetti im gonna take a picture and keep a track of it here, and my bebo. Just thought it'd be interesting!

Well yes back to the important stuff! On friday was Fiesta, it was fun. . . Meh. I guess. It was hard though. People being people and different around other people.

We went to the park cause the actual Fiesta got a bit tedious. The park was fun. Looked at clouds. . . Left people to there lonesome. It was fun. Talked with others discussed somethings. Then we left and walked around the park to sneak in and see what those people were up to. . . All commando like! :P

It wasnt entirely horrible. . . Made me feel a bit meh. Cause some people were acting ways that confused me and made me stressed. But Jo gave me a girls perspective on it which made me feel a little better.

Then i walked back with Young Nick to his house to watch Pulp Sport! and then we let off some of Matts homemade skyrockets! They made huge bangs! and he kinda explained how to make them so iv got to try it :P

Then on Saturday i meet Jonny, and Bob in town Andrew was supposed to come but we have no idea what was going on there cause he never showed up! So we hung out with out him i got Nick his Birthday present. Cheap Trick Greatest hits, and i bought Elemeno P - Love and Disrespect and GoodNight Nurse - Keep Me On Your Side! We hung out walking around town, We went to Pennylane the best cd store in CHCH. Its cool, like Real Greedy just everythings $5 cheaper!

Then at 4.30ish they went home and i ran to laserstrike! For Nicks Party! And OMG Laserstrike is completly different! so cool though. And i used my upgrades to buy better sheilds and stuff. So i was a bit better. . . I got a decent score i thought. The Guy that won got most trigger happy and but he cheated he'd cover up the laser so you couldnt shot him! It was quite exciting! :)

Then i went to GoodNight Nurse with Siobhan and Kristin it was fun! we played pool and moshed! Except one girl infront off us stunk the whole room out . . . She smelt worse than a tent full of un-showered boys at eastercamp! I got GGN to sign my CD which was neat! :) It was a good weekend. Even if i couldnt sleep and i was up to like 2am! :P

I Won! and i only got one strike! my verry first bowl. . . I was a bit dissappointed with my score, only 80 something? or early 90's? Any way pretty pathetic. And i got so many gutter balls it wasnt funny!!! But it was fun! I thrashed everyone else in the circle, well not totally but i got double some of there scores! Pheobe (guest circle member) got two strikes so two Hi-5's for her! :P

After the bowling we went to BK and we got our combo's and me and Siobhan causually went to full our drinks at the same time to leave two certain somebodies alone. hehehe

They was so cute!

When i came back I got a look that was sort of half we know something you dont know smug grin cross, your interupting something very very important so buzz off!

So i did! :)

My Mum came and got me from town at 8ish and i did some astronomy homework. The only dumb thing is half my sky is blank because of all of the city street lamps! which is super annoying!!! But im pretty sure i found Jupiter.


Then i stayed up til 1, playing Halo2 and watching tv, and txting.


BUt it was fun, Then i slept and my brother woke me at 9. playing his Guitar and radio! FLIP! 9 is two early for that in the weekend!!!

Well tomorrow im drumming in Churh. Yah! not. . . I only found out thursday! i had plans that i have to sorta pospone a few hours now. And one of the songs is in 12:8 timing! WTH!!! whats wrong with 4:4???

Oh well on with the Drama!!!

IM SO ANNOYED!!!

My stupid little brother keeps trying to go on my Drums! there are many reasons i dont want him to.

1) He used a hammer on them once

2) He's only doing it to annoy me

3) I dont go in his instruments

4) He doesnt hit the drums right he damages the skins!

5) He's a git that i can't stand so why would i let him use anything of mine?!?! Espeshially as he doesnt ask!

6) I just dont like him

7) I dont like people touching my stuff if they dont know how to use them.

8) When he's gone on the before he's moved everything!

9) I hate my brother.

10) He's sone on before and broken 2 sets of MY drumsticks.

Im sick of my brother.

Im sick of my family! Why can't my parents understand i dont want him touching my stuff!!! I dont go touch there stuff or play there instruments!!!

I cant deal with this extra stress iv got a bloody maths exam!!! on thursday!!! (btw im allowed to say bloody i do history)

Anyway now that this is the third time since the weekend i probly should tell you bout the awsomeness.

On Saturday i went to Ticketek (ticket-ek?) (ticket-tek?) to buy tickets to go to the Smokefree Retro gig thingy. It was WICKKED!!!

They played in the order of who ever was in rockquest most recently so first was Beneath the Silence cause they won the night before. I liked them but its not my cup of tea. but Man!

I knew all the words to most of there songs and it was great fun! Their wasnt many people there.

ElemenoP played my favourite song! Louder Louder! Its off there new album and they just released it as a single on Sunday? i think but i know all the words so i sung it and it made me super de duper happy! And then i stayd at Siobhans housey but then i got sick so on Sunday my Mummy had to come and pick me up. And i went home but it was a good weekend.
