That Girl is like a Sunburn

Hello Bloggy world!
I could say I've been to busy to blog recently but that'd be a downright lie. I have been house sitting though which was a fun, if expensive and probably badly timed experience considering I have just over 3 weeks before I head off to uni.
Currently I'm screwed as I have no student loan and I have about $400 in my savings. . . If I can hold onto it and fight the urge to buy Polo gear.
I have also been playing heaps of polo, I Love this sport. I wish I'd found it earliar so I'd be better and then It would be feasible to go to trails and get into an epic team. . . But I didn't even make my school A team being my first year playing. . . And missed out on a regional team, well I couldn't roll then. . . I sound a tad bitter don't I. Oh well I can make up for that, I'm getting my own gear I've got my $50 boat, getting my $700 Paddle (Ordering it cheap from the UK works out to be $400-$500, when the shop tells me how much postage would be!!!) Looking for a helmet, and other such handy polo thingys. I'm also throwing a ball against a wall practically everyday for 15-20mins and when I get to dunners and am staying in a hostel with a weights room I plan to start weights training to get my long shots down. Now I'm just blabbering on about Canoe Polo. . . My mum hates it when I talk about it, but hey I can't help what I get obsessed about!
Tomorrow I'm off with the fam-bam to Kayak the Abel Tasman, should be an epic adventure, even though my parents and my brother weren't the people I originally planned on having it with. Times change, people change, life's stressful ain't it.

During my house sitting I had my mate Jonny over we playing 360 had a ball, he's one of those people where you can not see them for years and then they're there and its like they never left. It's awesome to have these friends they're like auto save friends. I wonder how many other auto save friends I have.
I had other people over people from school, I invited quite a few people over but tonnes of them were busy it was a tad of a downer. . . Especially New Years when the people who said they were coming didn't show up and forgot to text me. . . Oh well I got to hunt defenceless animals in Red Dead Redemption and finish the story mission. Awesome game by the way. Do get it!
I sure can blabber. . . Hopefully my next post will be sooner and more worthy of being read.

Canoe Polo!

Canoe Polo makes me happy. I Love that its a sport that I'm getting to be reasonably decent at, well can kinda keep up with the HC guys and even get them back a couple of times. I Love that its so simple to play, and so complicated. I Love that theres so much more to learn so much more to master, and that hopefully over this summer heaps of time to do it all! I Love that today I learned to roll, (well sort of, 1/3 hand rolls on the right hand side. . . Still a lot of room for improvement!).
I Love that the people that play it are all such nice friendly people happy to join in and have a game, no one really minds if you stuff up or accidentally hit them with a paddle.
I Love that nobody knows what it is so you get to explain it to them, and every time people are like whoa! That sounds like fun!, or you do that in kayaks? you must be skilled! Its brilliant!
I LOVE CANOE POLO!

That is all. :)

If your keen to give it a go facebook me and we can work something out! xD

Theme Thursday - Triangle

When I was five, my school had a nativity play. I had wanted so badly to play the triangle. It had been my instrument of choice all through kindergarten. Every music time I would wrestle to get my triangle, I thought I was amazing at it. When my nativity play had come along, the day where everyone got there instruments went by, and that was my first sick day. It was also my first field trip. I missed out on too major things that day!

I hadn't really cared to much about the field trip it was to a car museum, I wasn't a car kid. I was a train kid. Thomas was what I had for everything. I had enough track to go all the way around the couch in the lounge!

What really got me upset was the next day when I was feeling better and we had the first nativity play practice. I turned up, when I heard what was going on I went straight for the triangle! Was I upset when Miss Martin told me that the triangle was being played by my class room Nemesis, Christian. I disliked that kid as much as I disliked Jaden from Kindergarten who always pulled my hair, as far as I can remember he did nothing to deserve my dislike. That was over 12 years ago, and five year olds aren't renowned for having Nemesis' for legitimate reasons.

I remember crying at morning tea time, for ages. My teacher came out to check on me and brought me a new instrument one I'd never seen before. She said she'd saved me the most important Job in the whole room 1 orchestra! I was excited, I had no idea how to use my new instrument though. Gently she explained, you use it like this and she showed me. It became immediately obvious what my task was! I was to be the donkeys feet noise. Joyously I practiced, clip, clop, clip, clop. I was brilliant. Donkey's have never, and never will walk with that much enthusiasm and bad rhythm.

I don't remember much about the nativity play, except me playing the clip clop on the donkeys for the one scene. Their were other donkey walkers for the other scenes. I remember one of the angels int the choir got a bleeding nose. Not good in a white dress, or in the middle of a primary school nativity play. It's odd the small things we remember when we think about it.

99% Cacao

I was thinking, if the awnsers not clear? Why? If its a maybe? Why not a yes? How can it be what you say it is when your actions contridict it? Why can someone be fine in your mind one minute, then after stewing over what they say and it all goes down the plug? Why do people do things? Say things? And then keep you at arms length, are they doing it for kicks? Do the understand the power they have?

Man if i wrote a book, i think High Fedality styles the way I'd go... Lots of thinking, saying stuff, but not. Good book btw. . . I think i might read it twice. . . I hope i never end up like Rob. . .

Im starting to think about things I say before I say them with everyone, this scares me. It means i get to consciously decide whether to lie or not. Like my Dad asked me today if i'd heard from the driving instructor, i knew I had. I decided to say no, because i didnt want to talk about it and cause dont really want to learn from the guy. . . Its scary, driving, and the instructors weird. . . I dont know, you know that vibe you get off some people and you just know its going to be awkward, and that theres no way you could be friends? And OMG the cars smells like old people. . . I had a shower last time just to get rid of the smell!!!

ARGH!!!

This weekend is going to suck! Driving lesson, Homework, Frisbee Golf (I know what the hell! and as far as i know only Jacobs going. . . im trying to contain all the excitement thats building up inside me. . . nope cant quite stand it. . .) Playing band in church which is just flipping stressful. . . and frustrating cause no one helps you set up the drumkit and its normally broken cause who ever put it away last time didnt do it properly! then iv got a free sunday afternoon. . . well maybe! Who knows? God knows!!!

Im so tired as well its 1/4 past 10 and my minds hit the fan, and i can barely sit up in my seat!

Pretty colours!
